Managing culture has always been one of the most complex, elusive challenges facing business leaders. Many of the problems organizations are facing are unprecedented. This makes organizational culture challenges more difficult than ever, fueling the need to innovate and experiment. Relying on established “best practice” will not drive progress.

Ethical Systems’ mission is to build better cultures through collaborative research. We aspire to build more effective, ethical, and cooperative corporate culture, by making business ethics a cumulative science.  We work with companies to address their most pressing culture challenges through rigorously assessing, experimenting with, and analyzing the workplace. We help leaders to shape organizations whose employees are satisfied, motivated, and high performing, and who behave according to the highest ethical standards.

Assessing and Improving Corporate Culture

Ethical Systems’ academic collaborators have pioneered ways to measure and improve corporate culture. Our approaches have been vetted by a working group of leading practitioners and academics. Please see our culture assessment overview here for more detail.

Our team conducts assessments, designs experiments and advises on systems change. We tailor our rapid experimentation to your company’s needs, measuring the impact of our interventions on your organization’s goals. We test what does and does not advance the outcomes you care about. The lessons we learn from our findings go toward helping businesses approach ethics in a smart, holistic fashion, for the good of all stakeholders.

We can work with you individually. If you are interested in joining a community of practitioners, academics, and foundations to explore the future of organizational culture in a disruptive and polarized world, please contact us.

Speakers

Our collaborators are among the top experts in the world on the topics we cover, and serve as prominent researchers who have generated much of the academic content featured on Ethical Systems.

They are practitioners who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their professional fields, in part by expertly linking academic research to business practice. If you’d like to invite someone to serve as a speaker at your conference or company, please email Cassidy Gargiulo at cgargiul@iu.edu for more information.
